What Baking Means to Me

I'm Caitlynn, currently a 16-year-old who has a huge passion for baking serving the Bay Area in California. I have been in the kitchen baking ever since I was able to walk. Helping my mom bake treats and licking the whisks and paddles of the mixer was always one of my favorite things to do.

About 5 years ago, we had just gone through a huge kitchen remodel and I remember the time when I had been able to bake for the first time in that brand new kitchen. There was no better feeling than this one. I began to develop a love and passion for baking, even more than I had before- I found it like my refuge and something that I can do no matter how I feel, and it always brings out the best in me.

Being able to bake for friends, family, and even take orders is so special for me and brings me to hope for my future wanting to be an entrepreneur, and someday running my own bakery myself! As of now, I'm just taking it one step (and cake order) at a time hoping to spread the love and passion through the baking community, hoping that you all can pursue what you love like I do too!
